In line with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Higher Education to strengthen human and technical capacities and to enhance the professional skills of academic staff, Professional Development Centers (PDCs) have been established within the higher education institutions at both central and provincial levels. These centers aim to mobilize qualified and specialized members of the academic members in order to provide a structured environment for capacity development and to facilitate the implementation of professional and technical training programs, as well as theoretical and practical learning initiatives for academic staff across higher education institutions.
Accordingly, the Professional Development Center (PDC) of Kabul Polytechnic University was established under the structure of the Academic Vice-Chancellery Affairs based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Ministry of Higher Education on 15/07/1398, in accordance with the national plan for the establishment of Professional Development Centers in higher education institutions. Since its inception, the center has consistently carried out its activities in close coordination with the Directorate of Academic Recruitment and Promotions of the Ministry of Higher Education, ensuring alignment with national policies related to academic capacity building and staff development.
