KPU Information Technology Center Foundation (ITCKPU)

Kabul Polytechnic University IT Center was built by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Republic of Korea in 2005.

The IT Center building has a surface area of 780 hectares and two floors. It houses two lecture rooms with audio video facilities, a conference hall with audio video facilities, two seminar rooms, a library, two computer labs each having 30 workstations, five offices equipped with computers for administrators and lecturers, and Internet room for lecturers.

 Achievements:

Included Visual Basic 6 and Computer Fundamentals for the 1st and 2nd year students in the curriculum of KPU

Launched Autocad (1260 students of 4th and 5th year participated that 1000 students achieved the certificate) and GIS (36 students participated and 28 were given certificates) short-term courses for the three faculties

USAID helped us to establish the ANGeL Center with two Laboratories.

Fortunately, Computer Engineering Faculty uses this IT Center Laboratories and Lecture rooms.
