Brief Introduction of Non-Organic Substance Technology Department

The non-organic department of chemical technology was established in 1388 according to the necessity of society. Since 1388 more than 200 engineers have been graduated from this department.

The non-organic substance technology department has one laboratory, which is equipped with the help and donation of the Europe Union and Slovak University.

Currently, this department has around 230 students taught by the lecturers of this department, they also have practical studies at some non-organic manufacturing companies. This department has six lecturers and one coordinator.

Objectives of the department

The Department of non-organic substance is one of the key departments of Kabul Polytechnic University which has been established in 1388.

Since 1388 several engineers have been graduated with the degree of Bachelor from this department.

The non-organic substance technology department has one laboratory, which is equipped with the help and donation of the Europe Union and Slovak University.

Currently, this department has around 230 students taught by the lecturers of this department, they also have practical studies at some non-organic manufacturing companies. This department has six lecturers and one coordinator

The main objectives of establishing this department are the training of young talented professionals, to carry on the following goals:

  1. To promote the department of non-organic technology as the best department among the other departments of Kabul poly technique university with a high educational level until 1400 in all over Afghanistan.
  2. Making a professional department with the most talented staff who would be able to work hard in the future and help the society getting steps toward industrial improvements.
  3. Scientific cooperation of this department in government and non-government development plans.
  4. Cooperation and exchange of information with the different educational centers out of the University.
  5. Training of young talented professionals.
  6. To improve the educational capacity of department’s professors.
  7. Mobilization of the department with best teaching materials.
  8. Work and research on different issues with help of modern laboratories of this department.
  9. To facilitate a peaceful environment for working and teaching far from discrimination.
  10. To improve the educational research level.
  11. To Improve scientific, exploratory activities according to the department allocated subjects.

  13. Students learn different issues related to the chemical engineering and process of several inorganic products such as production of fertilizers, non-organic acids, silicates etc.
  14. Engineers of this department have the ability to work in different non-organic products manufacturing companies.

The mission of this department is the training of students in the field of non-organic substance manufacturing with an international level due to the demand of society and objectives of government and providing a dynamic and creative learning environment for students.

Research work

Lecturers and professors of this department have several types of research but most of them are not conducted due to the lack of laboratories some of the articles are under work and will be published.

Facilities

This department is equipped with a chemical lab, 2 classrooms and the lecturers are able to deliver their lectures according to modern technology.
